Visit to Birmingham City University
The children's nursing students at Birmingham City University made a huge collection of items for Karis Baby Bank, and raised over £800 through a tombola and cake stall.
It took two car loads to bring back their collection of prams, nappies, formula, toys and clothes.
We are really grateful to them for their sterling work and support of what we do! Later this year we hope to also participate in their community volunteering scheme, welcoming students to come and help by volunteering with Karis BeFriends and the baby bank.
