Karis Neighbour Scheme has been a consistent presence in Ladywood and the surrounding areas for over 25 years now, looking to bring hope and wholeness to everyone in our community.

We are a local and responsive charity, offering support with a range of challenges faced by people in our local community and encouraging people to volunteer their time and skills to help their neighbours.

Here are some of the ways that we currently help...

Befriending:
Building friendships and community through visits, groups and activities

Advocacy and Advice:
Welfare benefits and advice, advocacy and signposting

Practical Help:
Helping with small practical issues, including provision of a baby bank

Listening and Guidance:
A professional and confidential NHS service that provides mental health support

Community:
Strengthening existing connections and resources and helping to build new ones
